In light of the races generally being agreed upon to comprise of humans, drakekin, and beastman, an idea was tossed around that Mercury could be a beastwoman if the writers wanted to go down that route. My thoughts went to Star Ocean 1's characters having only a tail to differentiate them from humans and then an idea occurred to me: what if beastkind and drakekin traits behaved as dominant or recessive genetically over other potential genetic features? For example, if Mercury was a beastwoman and had only a tail, it would mean the allele composition for every other beastman phenotype trait except for a tail was recessive with respect to human phenotypic features. This would create a lot of variety in character design with mixed races and would account for variety within the beastman species itself. (Imagine a drakekin/beastman mix lol)

I completely agree with Zelda's idea for the backstory for our Jupiterboy. The temperament "calm until provoked" fits him perfectly imo. I also really liked the humble beginnings for him being raised on a farm. In this case I believe that a less elaborate backstory pairs well with our Mercury Adept who is a little more complicated.

I must say that I always enjoy Disastercube's writeups the most and I'm a bit biased, but this last one is great: planned, simple and to the point. Congrats!
